Neon Thread is built for everyone, including children. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and, for users in the EU/EEA, the GDPR's provisions on children's data (GDPR-K). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, beyond the limited technical data described below.
We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses. We do not access your personal files, contacts, photos, or messages. There is no account creation required to play.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Neon Thread displays a consent prompt the first time you open the app, provided through Appodeal's Stack Consent Manager (built on Google's User Messaging Platform) in line with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. This lets you choose whether to allow personalized advertising before any ad-related data is used. You can review or withdraw your consent choice at any time from the Settings menu.
Where we detect that a user may be a child, the app is configured to skip the personalized-ad consent request and serve only non-personalized, general-audience ads by default.
High scores synced via Google Play Games Services are retained by Google under their own retention policy until you reset them or delete your Google Play Games data. We do not operate our own servers or databases that store player data. Technical data passes through Google, Appodeal, and their mediated ad networks under those companies' security practices.
Neon Thread has no chat, messaging, or image-sharing features between players. There is no way for players to contact each other through the game.
Because Neon Thread is designed for a general audience that may include children under 13, we do not collect any personally identifiable information from any user, and we do not permit behavioral advertising targeted at children where prohibited by law.
